Political Views and Hollywood News: Two New Radio Programs Launched Today in DFW

I used to think that the rise of the internet and the emergence of the iPod was going to kill traditional broadcast radio.
I was wrong.
Ten years later, broadcast radio has certainly evolved, but nothing on the internet or on an iPod has come close to touching the power of real-time talk radio.

And perhaps no city in the US understands this more than Dallas, Texas, where two new radio programs launched today.

The Scott Wilder Show launched on 1190 AM and the Khloe Kardashian show launched on 102.9 FM.
I’m a fan of the Scott Wilder show, so I’ll skip the Kardashian bit and just offer my support for the team of Scott Wilder and Lauren Lintner who are back on the Dallas airwaves sounding better than ever.

And how do I know this since I live in Seattle?
Thanks to the power of the internet and cool, smartphone apps like "iHeartRadio," my wife came skipping into the room this morning pointing to her phone, "Listen to this!"

Scott's voice was as crisp and enthusiastic as ever, and Lauren's friendly tone sounded great even over a tiny speakerphone.

It will be fun hearing what's going on in our former "hometown" and it's great to know that lively
debate, pontification, soap-boxing, philosophizing and audio-sparring is just a click away.
